In order to prolong the lifespan of your dishwasher and improve its efficiency, it is important to follow these basic rules when it comes to proper cleaning:
Ensure that the filter is clean by washing or rinsing it on a weekly basis. The filter is generally located beneath the dishwasher basket. Simply remove the filter and rinse with clean water to get rid of any food residues and dirt. Use a damp sponge and a small amount of dishwashing liquid if necessary.
